Meet The Coach

About Me

As the founder of Manage Copyright, Barbara Ingrassia specializes in guiding authors, course creators and business entrepreneurs toward DIY answers for content protection against internet thieves.

Since 2008 Barbara has spoken around the globe, focusing on the secrets of minimizing legal risks while bringing peace of mind to her clients.

Residing in Worcester, Mass. she has a great sense of humor when presenting and believes that raising awareness about this important topic is vital information for all entrepreneurs. Barbara has been studying and navigating the complicated realm of copyright law and content protection for over a decade.

Because a website is the heart of your business, my mission is to empower entrepreneurs with DIY copyright skills, executive website 1:1 evaluation, and the tools to protect their content from website thieves.

I have a passion for teaching people about copyright—busting the myths and misunderstandings about copyright in the Digital Age– and having some FUN in the process!

Copyright can seem like a “gray murky ooze” –always shifting and changing. I enjoy guiding individuals and businesses through that ooze…around the potholes…around the quicksand…that can suck the life out of a business.

My mission is to raise awareness of the impact of copyright on our daily lives, helping us to avoid the risk of time-consuming and potentially very expensive litigation.

Personal experiences?

I can understand how confusing this is. Copyright vs. plagiarism vs. trademark.  Oh My.

“Isn’t all this content just floating around in cyber space, waiting for me to grab and use it? WHY would someone put it out there if they didn’t want me to use it? And I CAN right click/copy/paste, so it’s technically possible. So what’s the Big Deal?”  I address myths and misunderstandings about copyright in the digital age. And I enjoy bringing some FUN and creativity to it.
